No, a profile is optional. To start out, fill out a form like the following:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Clan:
Appearance:
Personality:
Once you get that, we'll help you again from there.

That's perfectly fine. Do you want to be a cat who returned or a cat who was brought into the clan. I hate to make you decide, but when I posted the thread, I made it so every cat had gone away and only Wolfmuzzle (starrunner) had come back. Hey, I had to find some way to make it appear that the camp hadn't just suddenly dissappeared. If you read the thread, you'd understand what I mean, I don't feel as though I did a very good explaining.

Yep, just post whenever you feel like it, but make sure you know the rules. We won't be too picky since there aren't many members, but for in the future, make sure you know them. They aren't that hard to memorize, just all the basics. Be nice, no swearing, don't spam, ect.
